Hello, Parents! I
hope this note finds you well. This will
be short and sweet… J THANK YOU to all of you that have stepped up
to help with the tournament this weekend.
It is such a fun event to host here, but it does take a lot of help, and
you all are wonderful. I absolutely love
the team of parents/staff that we have here at Timothy. It is another reminder of how very blessed we
are….
Mornings with Mom was so fun, and it was great to see you
all there!
Because of our busy tournament weekend, there will be no
school on Monday, February, 6th.
Please make sure you let the school office know if you need
childcare. Thank you.
I have let a date slip my mind, that I need to ask for your
help! The 3rd/4th
graders are hosting the preschool chapel services next week, on February 8th
and 9th. We will need to
leave school by 9:20, in order to get there and get ready by 9:45. Chapel should only last about 30 minutes each
day. If you are able to drive, please
let me know! I appreciate it….and I am SO
sorry about the late notice.
We will celebrate Valentine’s Day in our classroom on
Tuesday, February 14th with some fun math stations, and exchanging
valentines. If your child chooses to make
valentines, please include one for each child.
Thank you so much! If you want to
send in a small snack for that day too, that would be much appreciated!
Student-led parent teacher conferences are coming
up….Thursday, February 16th and Friday, the 17th! This time around, students lead, and will
share with you favorite work, personal report cards, and areas they think they
need to improve. Please click on the
link below to sign-up. Students must be
present. Thank you!
Enrollment packets for the 2017-2018 school year came home this
week. Enrollment is initially only
opened to current Timothy families.
Since some rooms are more filled with students than others, you may want
to return your enrollment information as soon as possible to be sure your spot
is saved for next year. There’s also an
early enrollment discount! Enrolling
soon also helps us make the proper arrangements for the upcoming school year
(textbooks, staffing, etc.), which we’re eager to plan well for! If you know of any friends looking for a new
school home, be sure to mention us, as open enrollment will take place in about
a month!
Achievement Tests are coming up for grades 3-8 on February
21-24. I will write out more specifics for that in next week’s note.
Our Spanish teacher, Mrs. Carrasco, needs our help for Cinco de Mayo! Timothy Lutheran School Spanish Class is in
need of some white straight 2-inch lace to complete five skirts for our Cinco
de Mayo presentation. Each skirts takes
about 12.5 yards of lace per skirt. Any donation that you are able to donate (lace
or dollars) will be greatly appreciated!
Thank you so much!
