I have included some pictures of my summer below. We had some fun!

My step-daughter, Alissa, graduated from high school.  :)

Annabel and Sydney played on a summer volleyball league.

We visited the Nelson Art Gallery and took a little Kansas City vacation!

 Vacation Bible School!

We stripped and painted the deck.  (Lots of tough work!)

We had volleyball camp here at Timothy, hosted by Coach Dave MacLean.  It was awesome!

 We bought Rock Band!

We went to the Royals game!

We celebrated Fourth of July with family and friends at our home.  :)

We took a family canoe trip...

...and went swimming A LOT!

We said "goodbye" to Mr. and Mrs. Kuerschner.  It was a sad, but beautiful day, as they begin this new chapter of their lives.  God is good!

We welcomed our new principal, Mr. Ken Holland,  and are extremely excited he is here!  We are all looking forward to the new adventures that await us.  If you get a chance, pop in his office, introduce yourself, and say "hello!"

I am very excited to be your teacher this year!  Please use this classroom blog to look up spelling words, memory work, or other information.  I will also post weekly newsletters and pictures of things we are doing in class.
I am eager to catch up with each of you and find out what your summer has been like too. :) I am looking forward to seeing all of you very soon! I am praying for each and every one of you as we begin this journey together.
God's Blessings!
Love,
Mrs. Brunkhorst
