Hi, Parents! We are
back into the swing of things!
Highlights from this week and important info:
*We hosted Chapel on Wednesday! Our lesson was about heaven, and how God is
and always will be eternal. He is also
omnipresent…present with us ALL the time.
We only had a day to prepare, and had a couple of kiddos absent, but the
Spirit led us, and our message came across!
Thank you for your prayers!
*Yesterday, we visited the School of Economics, and
had such a fun time! We made new friends
from Daniel Young Elementary, witnessed many new things, and really learned
some life lessons! I LOVED how I
witnessed the kids coming together as teams, and working SO hard to pay off
their loans! I witnessed AMAZING
teamwork, dedication, helping each other out, and Jesus really did shine
through us! It was also fun to work
alongside Miss Vogt, Mrs. Vogt’s daughter.
She’s such a good teacher, like her mama. J It was such a fun day! THANK YOU to all of our wonderful parent
volunteers, who gave of their time. I know
you were exhausted! Thank you!
*Midterms are coming home today! Please sign and return the bottom portion
next week. Thank you!
*Timothy Lutheran School’s Christmas musical, A
Stranger in the Manger,” is coming up on December 14th at 7:00. Please have your child here by 6:30 in their
classroom. They are supposed to wear
nice church clothes. Thank you!
*Instead of exchanging classroom Christmas gifts with one
another, our class has chosen to help a child in need. We chose a tag off our Angel Tree in the
lobby, and this one is an 11 year old girl who would love to get a new
bicycle. J If you choose, and can, please send in a few
dollars toward that gift card. I have urged the kids to pray about this! They are all excited about GIVING! Thank you so much for your help in this
process!
Here is what we have been up to in the classroom:
Religion-We discussed Samson, and how God chose him
as judge. We also talked about God’s
plan, and how God desires to save ALL people, and He worked His plan of
salvation through the birth, death, and resurrection of Jesus.
Memory next week:
December 4- THE EIGHTH COMMANDMENT
You shall not give false testimony against your
neighbor. What does this mean? We should fear and love God so that we do not

but defend him, speak well of him, and explain everything in the kindest way.
