Happy "late" Valentine's Day!

Hello, parents!  This is coming a day early, so I can give you some details about tomorrow… :)

First, THANK YOU for being amazing.  You have “gone with the flow” and it is much appreciated.  I feel so blessed to have you as the parents of my class.  You are a class act, and are treasured!

"Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God." ~Philippians 1:3.

*Tomorrow, we will not have a spelling test.  We will continue with these spelling words into next week, and will test NEXT FRIDAY, February 26th. (Here are the words: harbor, final, middle, water, labor, model, chapter, special, sugar, bottle, medal, collar, proper, towel, beggar, battle, trouble, shower, uncle, doctor, *decimal)

*We will have Memory tomorrow.  I have listed the memory verse below, along with the verses for next week:

 Memory for next week:

Tomorrow, 2/19-The Apostle's Creed

I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth.

And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord,

who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,

born of the Virgin Mary,

suffered under Pontius Pilate,

2/23-was crucified, died, and was buried.

He descended into hell.

The third day He rose again from the dead.

He ascended into heaven

and sits at the right hand of God

the Father Almighty.

2/26- 2/26-From thence He will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,

the holy Christian Church,

the communion of saints,

the forgiveness of sins,

the resurrection of the body,

and the life everlasting. Amen.

*Tomorrow is the last day to submit money for the LLS (Leukemia & Lymphoma Society) service project.  Your child can either bring in money to school or donate online.  Thank you!

*We will be rescheduling student-led conferences.  We will get this date to you soon!

We had our Valentine’s Day party today!  Just 4 days late!  ;)  First off, we had a lot of fun just seeing and being with one another again!  Secondly, we were able to celebrate Finn’s birthday (just 10 days late!).  We also had valentine centers, valentine snacks, frosted sugar cookies, made valentine holders, and passed out valentines.  I believe fun was had by all!
