God is Good!

Hi, 3rd and 4th grade parents!  We have had a beautiful week, with a ton of time outside, enjoying God’s beautiful Creation and weather!

*Standardized Testing week will occur the week of March 15-19.  We ask that you avoid scheduling any appointments for the week.  Testing will be from 8:30-12:00 Monday through Friday.  I will send more details next week!

  *Update: The Leukemia Lymphoma Society mission project was a huge success. Thank you to all who so generously participated.  Our school raised over $2000!!!  What a blessing to those who suffer from these diseases.  Our class raised $263.01!

 *Student-Led conferencing will take place March 25th and 26th. We will have a 1:00 dismissal both days (there will be aftercare).  Here is the sign-up that I had designed previously.  I changed the dates.  If you need to change your date and time, please feel free to do so.  Thanks for “going with the flow” of things!  If you are uncomfortable meeting here at school, I will prepare your child to share his or her student-led conference with you at home.  I will not need to be present.

 Here is what we have been up to this week:

Religion-This week, we learned more about the Lord’s Supper, and discussed how the Passover ties to this meal of forgiveness, grace, and salvation.

Memory for next week:

3/9-

Man walked alone and in need,

without faith, hope or promise or creed;

wandering aimlessly lost unaware of the staggering cost;

that God in his mercy would save all his people from death and the grave.

3/12-Lord, teach us how to proclaim

all your goodness, your love and your name!

Lord, teach us how to forgive, and in love, teach us Lord, how to live.

Raising our voices in song, help us tell all the world we belong.
