We had such a FUN experience at the School of Economics yesterday! I was so proud of how the kiddos worked hard, showed love to others, and paid off their loans! :) We even met some new friends from St. Thomas More Catholic School in Kansas City. In fact, they enjoyed their time with us so much that they want to return with us next school year. We praise God for all that we learned and experienced! THANK YOU to our amazing parent volunteers!
RELIGION: We read the accounts of the Last Supper, the Garden of Gethsemane and Jesus' Crucifixion from all four of the Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. We compared them and talked about the differences. We created Holy Week books too! Today, we discussed Good Friday, and while the conversations we had were emotional, we know that Jesus did not stay dead for us! He has risen indeed! Alleluia!
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” ~1 Peter 1:3
The kiddos asked that I share these videos with you:
