Hello, 4th grade parents! It has been a good week! Stay safe with the crazy weather out there!
*SHINE, SHINE, SHINE! Thank you for your donations for our Shine event! The students had a wonderful time writing cards and packing bags for others this week!
*We had fun at our pizza party today! Thank you, PTL and Kash!
Here is what we have been up to in the classroom:
RELIGION- This week, we learned about Jesus Asension, the Pentecost, and how God rescued Peter from prison. We had some beautiful, in length discussions about how we are never alone and how God has promised to always be with us. He has given us the Great Commission as our command to go out and tell others about Jesus, His power, and His promise to always be with us! We also talked about the MANY problems and temptations in the world, so we shared the 4 things below, and my prayer is that the kiddos will ALWAYS remember them:
1. God can fix anything.
2. God can bless us with people who help us with our problems.
3. God can help us adjust or cope with living with a problem.
4. God will wipe awas all of our problems in heaven. (Revelation 21:1-4)
MEMORY-4/21-The 23rd Psalm
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul.
4/24-He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil, for you are with me;
your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
4/28-You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies;
you anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
5/1-Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
