Happy Thanksgiving!

Parents—Just a quick note to let you know how thankful I am to our Heavenly Father for you, and for your children.  You all are a blessing to me.  Thank you for sharing them with me each and every day!  Have a blessed Thanksgiving with your loved ones!

A few quick reminders:
*The TLSM Auction was a HUGE success!  We had a lot of fun!  Thank you to all the parents who planned, helped out, and participated in anyway.  I have not heard totals yet, but our classroom project did very well!  THANK YOU for all of your help!

*We are leading the Advent service next Wednesday.  3rd-6th graders are in charge of speaking parts and the skit.  We will be practicing this quite a bit on Monday and Tuesday.  Please make sure you sign-up below to let us know of your needs… Also, please just email me and let me know if your child cannot come.  It really does help when we are handing out parts.  Thank you so much!

Our Thanksgiving Feast today was wonderful!  We finished learning all about the first Thanksgiving, took our tests, and then feasted!  THANK YOU for the yummy food!  Goodness, there was an overabundance of it!  We had enough to share with the entire staff too.  We went back for seconds and thirds, and dessert, and then we were in a bit of a food coma for Music, Spanish and P.E.  ;)

*Fourth grade book reports are due Wednesday, November 30th.   If your 4th grader is missing his or her form, you can get another on our web page.

*Please mark your calendars—Our whole school will go bowling at Lunar Bowl on Monday, Dec. 19 from 9-11.  The cost per bowler will be $4.00 for students, $7.00 for parents.  Third and Fourth graders will then carol at Benton House (a nursing home) at 1:00.  We will need drivers, and a sign-up will come home soon.  Thank you.

*Memory for next week:
November 29-but honor them, serve and obey them, love and cherish them.
December 2-THE FIFTH COMMANDMENT
You shall not murder.  What does this mean?  We should fear and love God so that we do not hurt or harm our neighbor in his body, but help and support him in every physical need.
