The LAST Newsletter from 4th Grade..

Dear Parents,

Hello!  It is very hard for it to sink in that this will be my last newsletter of this school year.  As I write this, I am rather emotional…I have said it many times, but THANK YOU for sharing your children with me.  Having them for two years of their lives, I have grown to love each and every one of them so very much.  They are treasures that God has so graciously given to me, and I will miss them so very much!

This week, we have had so much fun!  We had TimOlympics nearly every day, our Missouri History Living Museum on Wednesday, our trip to Winstead’s to celebrate our multiplication successes, our all-day field trip on Thursday to Fort Osage, McCoy Park, and Harry S. Truman Library, and then today--a very special Religion class with Pastor Rich about the book of Revelation (we learned some AMAZING facts!), and getting ready for graduation!  Whew!  THANK YOU for those of you that were able to go on our field trip. God blessed us with beautiful weather, and we all learned a lot and had a great time!

(I have posted pictures of all of the events above on our classroom blog—please check them out!!!)

We are almost at the end our marathon!  ;)

*Tonight is our Preschool and 8th Grade Graduation service at 7:00 p.m.   Students need to be here at 6:40.  They can sit with you.  ALL students will be singing, our band will be performing, and our preschool and 8th grade friends will be graduating.  It will be a beautiful night.

*Monday, we have a full day of school.  We will complete our TimOlympic competitions, (Lip Syncs and Scavenger Hunt!), and have our classroom auction.

*Tuesday, May 22nd,  is our LAST DAY with a 1:00 dismissal.  We will have our closing chapel that morning - you’re more than welcome to come!!  Students will share their Lip Syncs and we will have TimOlympic closing ceremonies.  J  In our rooms, we will open our Time Capsules, pack-up, and clean.  J  Students will come home with classroom supplies and report cards, so please send backpacks to school.

God’s Blessings as you trek into your summer-time.  As always, you all are in my thoughts and prayers.  Thank you for being amazing parents to work with.  I am blessed.
Love,
Kim
