RELIGION- This has been such a beautiful week for us, as we
have learned about the events of Holy Week.
We discussed Palm Sunday, Jesus in the temple, Maundy Thursday, the
Lord’s Supper, the Garden Gethsemane, Peter Denying Jesus, and Jesus’
Crucifixion. We read straight from God’s
Word and also watched some wonderful reenacting of these verses. The students colored a Holy Week timeline,
which we will finish up on Tuesday.
Today, we discussed Good Friday, and while the conversations we had were
emotional, we know that Jesus did not stay dead for us! He has risen indeed! Alleluia!
“Praise be to the God
and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new
birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the
dead.” ~1 Peter 1:3

4/11-The 23rd Psalm
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of
