Dear Parents,
We’ve had a fun week…and we are SO excited about the band
concert and spring musical TONIGHT!
There is electricity in the air!
Just a quick reminder: Students need to be in their classrooms at
6:00.
They should wear:
• Tan,
brown, gray, or denim shorts
• A plain
colored shirt preferably with no writing
• Tan,
brown, or black sandals or flip flops
We will have tunics for each child.
*Mid-terms will come home on Monday!
*Trivia Night is Friday, April 20, 2018 at 6 P.M. here at
Timothy! It’s 80’s night! This is a HUGE fundraiser for the school, and
tons of fun…reserve your table now!
*The 4th-6th Graders will be going to the School of
Economics on Tuesday, April 24. We have
been busy, busy, busy working on this!
This week, we had job interviews, received our job assignments, met as
shops, filled out passports, and made our shops signs. Next week, we will work on our loan
applications and price the items we will sell.
The cost for this field trip is $15. Please send that in as soon as you
can. Students will NOT need to pack a
lunch, as this fee includes food for them.
Here is what else we have been up to:
Religion: We talked about how Jesus is our Good
Shepherd, and that NOTHING can snatch us out of His hand. We discussed the temptations in life, about
how we may doubt our faith, but our Father
is always faithful, and always there.
This is such a blessing that we often take for granted. We also had some AMAZING discussions about heaven
today!
Math-We learned how to multiply whole numbers and
fractions and reviewed Chapter 8. We
will have our test over fractions on Monday.
Missouri History-We finished up chapter 4, discussing
Missouri’s role in the Civil War. We
reviewed today and will continue to do so on Monday. We will test over this chapter next Friday. I have attached the study guide that I have
sent home. I will also send home our
Jeopardy game next week to help study!
This week in…
Art-We completed our painted pictures about our
favorite memories.
Writing-We worked on taking notes!
P.E.-We began working on track and field
events---conditioning, long jump, and sprinting.
Music-We practiced the music, songs, and lyrics for
the musical.
Have an AMAZING weekend! See you tonight!
Blessings,
Kim
