*We were able to try out a lot of musical instruments on Wednesday!  Let me tell you…These kiddos had so much fun!  Wow!  There is a lot of musical talent in this group!  A note has come home to you this week about your child’s band interests.  Please sign and return this.  Thank you so much!

* FUN DAY IS NEXT FRIDAY!!  Please note the following:
Sunscreen - have your child put this on before school; feel free to send it with your child for reapplication in the afternoon
Students must wear tennis shoes - NO FLIP FLOPS/SANDALS
WATER GUN AND TOWEL - there will be a teacher-student water battle in the afternoon, so don’t forget a water gun for fun and a towel to dry off after the fun.
Can you help that day?

*If you have not already, please let me know if you and your family will be attending our annual Activities Awards Night on Friday, May 10th.  We will be recognizing all volleyball, basketball, track, cross-country, band, and academic team members.  Thanks!

Why?  The 4th grade class has been studying Missouri history and we want to share some of our knowledge with you!
*There is no need to R.S.V.P.  Please just come by at your convenience.  The entire museum will take about 20 minutes to go through and to see all of the exhibits.  Thank you!
*Preschool + 8th Grade Graduation is Friday, May 17th at 7:00 p.m.  ALL students are highly encouraged to attend, as the band and choir groups are both going to be performing.  Since Timothy is such a family, it will be even more meaningful to have our whole school there to send off our graduates with our prayers and support.

*Hello, parents!  To culminate our studies of Missouri History, we are going to Harry S. Truman Library and Missouri Town on Friday, May 17th!  We will leave school at 8:45 and head to Truman Library first (500 W US Hwy 24, Independence, MO 64050) for our tour at 9:15. We were able to receive a scholarship for this, so the students are free.  Adults are $8.00.  The tour is about two hours long.  Afterwards, we will head across the street to McCoy Park, quickly eat our sack lunches and play for a bit.  Then, we will head back this way to Missouri Town (8010 E Park Rd, Lee's Summit, MO 64081) for our tour at 12:30.  Students are $4.00 and adults are $3.00 each.  This will last about an hour and a half.  If we have time, we may stop and play before we come back to school again too.  We will need drivers for this event, so if you can, please sign-up below.  What a fun day!
In a nutshell:
Students: $4.00 and a sack lunch
Parents: $11.00 and a sack lunch
