or you can just stop in the office. You WILL NOT want to miss our local
celebrity guest auctioneer, Mark Alford, or the chance to view and/or bid on
our class project! We worked on it this week!
Here is what else we have been up to this week:
Religion/Language Arts- This week, we learned all
about Reformation and Martin Luther. Be
sure to ask you kiddo everything he or she learned, and please take a look at
the fun project coming home! They wanted
me to share this link with you too:
Check out Reformation Rock!
;)
Next week’s Memory:
11/5- THE SECOND COMMANDMENT-You shall not misuse the name
of the Lord your God.
11/8-What does this mean?
We should fear and love God so we do not curse, swear, use satanic arts,
lie, or deceive by His name,
Spelling Words for Friday, November 8th:
3rd-from the story, Harvest Birds-itch,
wreck, knee, patch, wrap, knot, watch, knife, stretch, write, knew, knock,
match, wrong, wrinkle, knuckle, *cacophony
4th-from the story The Earth Dragon Awakes-rising,
traced, stripped, slammed, dancing, striped, winning, snapping, bragging,
handled, dripped, begged, dared, skipped, hitting, spotted, raced, dimmed,
spinning, escaped, urged, striving, *cacophony
Math- This week, third graders worked with subtraction
and regrouping, as well as identifying in word problems whether they need to
find an exact answer or an estimate.
Fourth graders worked with variables and writing equations and solving
them after reading word problems. Please
keep working on math facts!
Science- This week, we were scientists collaborating
on a project! We divided into three
teams, and with limited supplies, made suspension bridges between two
desks. The bridge had to hold a plastic
cup full of 20 pennies. I loves seeing
all of the collaboration and teamwork!
All bridges were successful!
SPECIAL CLASSES

painted paint sticks for our classroom auction project! I will be so excited to share the finished
