Happy Valentine's Day!

Hello, parents!  Happy Friday!  Happy Valentine’s Day!  It was so fun meeting with all of you at conferences the last two days!  I LOVE having your children in my class this year!

*THANK YOU for supporting our 3rd quarter mission project—Pennies for Patients—and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  As a class, we have raised $530.28!   As a whole school, we raised over our goal of $750!  Praise the Lord!  We will send the exact total home next week…This is such a blessing!  THANK YOU!

*Please remember that we have school on Monday, February 17th.  Thanks!

*Just a reminder:  The early enrollment deadline is February 28th.  You can get 50% off your enrollment fee!

*We had fun celebrating Valentine’s Day today by learning all about St. Valentine, writing sweet notes on our bags, having treats, participating in some fun Valentine centers, and passing out our cards.  We are so blessed to be here at this school and able to share God’s LOVE every day!

Here is what we have been learning about this week:
Religion-We have learned all about Daniel, and about how he did not turn away from God, but rather, turned to him in his times of trouble.

Memory for next week-
2/18-and I pray You to forgive me all my sins where I have done wrong, and graciously keep me this night.  For into Your hands I commend myself, my body and soul, and all things. Let Your holy angel be with me, that the wicked foe may have no power over me. Amen.
2/21- Say the entire Evening Prayer.

Language Arts- We finished up chapter 6 of “Ramona and Her Father.” We also discussed “point of view” and worked on story mapping.  On Monday, we will finish the book!
