Hello, parents! Happy Friday. :) It was nice to have a week that was rather “normal,” if that is truly possible! ;) We have been busy in here!
*THANK YOU again for supporting our 3rd quarter mission project—Pennies for Patients—and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. As a whole school, we raised $2001.37!!! Praise the Lord! This is such a blessing, and a shining example of Touching Lives for Christ. THANK YOU!
*We have a Kindergarten Open House next Thursday, February 27th!
*Just a reminder: The early enrollment deadline is February 28th. You can get 50% off your enrollment fee!
Here is what we have been learning about this week:
Religion- We have been talking about the prophets that foretold Jesus’ birth…and we have finally had our lesson about Jesus birth. It was fun to revisit the Christmas Scripture. During Chapel this week, Jenna Mundt shared her awesome experiences from her mission trip to Guatemala. We learned SO much from her! It was such a pleasure to have her here!
Memory for next week-
2/25 -The Apostle's Creed
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth.
And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
2/28-was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended into hell.
The third day He rose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven
and sits at the right hand of God
the Father Almighty.
Language Arts- This week, we got back into our basal readers. Third graders a Ramona story entitled, The Extra-Good Sunday.” They loved this story!
