It's Friday Again!

Hello, parents!  Happy Friday!  I am so happy for our hometown CHIEFS!  It was fun having the day off on Wednesday and spending the day with our families.

Important Upcoming Events:
*Our third quarter mission project is underway!  This quarter, Timothy is supporting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society by participating in their Pennies for Patients Program!  Funds are due next Friday, February 14th. There are 4 ways that your student can help:
1.            Your child can PRAY for these individuals with cancer, and for the researchers and doctors that are searching for a cure.
2.            Your child can bring monetary donations to school.  They were given a box today to collect these materials.  We will be collecting this money in each classroom.
3.            With your help, you child can go online and join our school’s team to make an online donation.
4.            With your help, your child can go online and join your child’s classroom team to make an online donation.

With the latter two, it is very easy to get signed up.  Please go to this website: https://events.lls.org/pages/mid/Timothy-Lutheran-School-2020
If you choose to join your child’s class, you just enter the last name of your child’s teacher to get signed up.
With this, your child will have an account and link that can be shared with friends and family members if they would like to donate too!
If our school raises $750, all of the classes get donuts, AND the class with the largest percentage of money raised will get a pasta party!
We are collecting donations until February 14th!

SO FAR, OUR CLASS HAS RAISED .... $102.19!  Thank you for your help!

*Student-Led Parent/Teacher conferences are coming up on February 13th and 14th.  Your child will need to present.  We have begun practicing for conferences at school!  We dismiss at 1:00 both days.  If you need another afternoon or evening, please let me know!  Here is the link to sign-up: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0c4dadab2da7f58-1stquarter
