Happy Thanksgiving!

Hello, parents!  This note will be short and sweet…just like our week!

Happy Thanksgiving!  I am SO thankful for each one of these kiddos and for you!  God has blessed me with this profession, surrounded by my most favorite people every day…I am very blessed.  God is good ALL the time, and ALL the time, God is good!

*THANK YOU for the yummy dishes and treats you went in for our feast yesterday!  Everything was splendid and we had a fantastic time!

*Classroom Recipe Books are coming home today!  Thank you for sharing some of your favorite food and traditions from your home.  :)

*Mid-terms are coming home today.  Please sign and return the bottom portion, so I know you have viewed it.  Thank you.

*Fourth grade book reports are due on Monday, November 30th.

*Our Christmas Program is December 16th at 5:30 in the school auditorium.  It is during Timothy’s Advent Service.  Only the 5th-8th grade will be presenting live.  PK-4th grade will be pre-recording their songs, etc.  Thank you for your support and understanding.

 Memory for next week:

12/1-but honor them, serve and obey them, love and cherish them.

12/4-THE FIFTH COMMANDMENT

You shall not murder.  What does this mean?  We should fear and love God so that we do not hurt or harm our neighbor in his body, but help and support him in every physical need.

Spelling words for next week, December 4th:

3rd- From the story, “Jump!”: joy, point, voice, join, oil, coin, noise, spoil, toy, joint, boy, soil, choice, boil, poison, destroy, *colossal

4th- From the story, “The Screech Owl Who Liked Television” : somebody, fireplace, nearby, toothbrush, homesick, make-believe, anything, all right, goodbye, forehead, classmate, flashlight, haircut, twenty-two, driveway, alarm clock, baby-sit, airport, forever, mailbox, field trip, absent-minded, *colossal

May you have a blessed Thanksgiving!

In Him,
