*Myrna Mardis from the Blue Springs Optimist Club came and visited us this morning!  She talked about all the activities available in Blue Springs for the kids, including the  Spooky Springs on October 28th at Wilbur Young Park from 6-8 and the fishing derby in the spring… She also distributed student dictionaries to all the 4th graders at TLS!  All 4th graders in the city of Blue Springs receive one!  4th grade parents, please see the handout you kiddo is bringing home today.  We are so thankful!

Here is what we have been up to this week:

RELIGION- We talked all about Joseph and his brothers, and Job and his amazing faith!  We discussed how when we have days that are like “a hard knock life” or a “no good, very bad day,” we need to remember that God is in charge, He loves us, and we are SO VERY blessed on SO many levels!  We had some great discussions about integrity and lifting one another up.

SPECIAL CLASSES
