Hello, 4th grade parents!
We had our Walk-A-Thon today and it was SO much fun! THANK YOU for all of your support,
volunteerism, and donations! We had
beautiful weather and sunshine and a good time!
Your child will be coming home with a name tag today that indicates how
many laps he or she completed. If you
need to use this to collect money from your loved ones, please do so. We will be collecting until October 4th. :) You
can still donate online too!

**Please come join us for WORSHIP at Timothy Lutheran Church,
THIS SUNDAY, September 29th. All of our
Timothy students, Preschool – 8th grade, will sing a couple songs right at
the beginning of both the 9:00 a.m. service and the 10:30a.m. service. Please be there about 8:45 to line up inside
the auditorium. Please wear Rams colors
or Sunday best. Students will sit with
you after they sing during the first service, and will be able to leave after
they sing at the beginning of the second service. We are excited about this opportunity to
share our voices of praise with our Timothy Lutheran family!
Here is what we have been doing in the classroom:
RELIGION- We have begun a new unit where we are studying
some of God’s chosen leaders. We have
talked about Deborah, Barak, Ruth, and Samuel.
This has been enlightening because we are discussing respecting
authority and how to strengthen our personal character as we talk about life
circumstances and how we react in them.
We are seeing God at work in our lives, and with this are learning how
to live our lives of faith. Today,
we talked about scenarios where we are called to serve.
MEMORY for Next Week:
10/1-
Hebrews
James
1 & 2 Peter
1 , 2, & 3 John
Jude
Revelation
10/4-Recite all of the New Testament Books
LANGUAGE ARTS- In class, we read a play entitled, “The Power
of W.O.W,” which was a story of kids collaborating together to save their
beloved library. Fourth graders had some
fun acting all of this our and showcasing our acting talents! :) In
class, we discussed sentence fragments, run-on sentences, and how to use a
graphic organizer to document a story.
