Happy Friday! :) Happy Spring! :)

We have a mama killdeer protecting her eggs in our rock garden.  :)

Hi, parents!  It has been a great week!  We have been busy preparing for School of Economics this week.  This week, we completed our loan applications, filled out shop supply lists, and the accountants made out our first paychecks.  :)  We go on Monday!   :)

 Reminders:

*Third quarter report cards come home today.

*The kiddos have earned a STAR PARTY for great classroom behavior and for working SO hard!  They have chosen to watch the movie “The BFG” next Friday (3/28), since we finished the book yesterday.  It will be fun to compare.  They may bring snacks and either a pillow or a blanket to school, if they so choose.  Thank you!

*Everyone is invited!  All 5th – 8th grade students will present “The Gospel Show” on Friday, March 28 at 6:00pm. Please come!

Born in the Light of a bright shining star,

They say this Baby is sure to go far,

So let’s go and watch the show.

Stick around or you’ll miss all the fun.

They say that He could be number one,

So let’s go and watch the show.

Will He be a Star? Can He go that far?

We all want to know.

We’re going to the Gospel Show.

*Preschool – 8th grade will sing two songs at the beginning of both worship services on March 30th.  Please, mark your calendars and plan to participate. Pastor Rod wanted us to remind you that they will sing promptly at 9 am and at 10:30.  We will meet your kiddo on the risers at the beginning of each service, so please plan to be there at least 5 minutes early.  Thank you for your cooperation!

*TRACK-A few weeks ago, I sent out an email about track here at Timothy.  If your 4th grader is interested in joining, please let me know!  Practices begin April 1st.  Thank you!

*We will have SNOW MAKE-UP days on April 17th and 21st.  If you already have traveled planned, please just let the office know.  Thank you!

Here is what we have been up to this week:

RELIGION: We learned about Jesus’ Transfiguration and how He revealed His divine nature to His followers.  He strengthens our lives to live as His disciples too!  We discussed petitions six and seven of the Lord’s Prayer, by reviewing the stories of Job and the Canaanite woman who was suffering.  We will finally win victory when we receive the blessing of eternal life!

 MEMORY:

3/25-Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”  ~John 14:6

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul.
