Here is what we have been up to this week:
RELIGION: We discussed the
story of Jesus riding in to Jerusalem. Thank
God that He showed His love for us by giving us a king, the Messiah, who saves
us. We discussed the lyrics of “I Know
That My Redeemer Loves.” These are so powerful
and these words of praise connect Christians across all time and I all places
through worship.
MEMORY: 4/1-He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Even though I walk through
the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil, for you are with me;
your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
4/4-You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my
enemies;
you anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
LANGUAGE ARTS: This week, we read the biography, “Harvesting Hope,” which is about Cesar Chavez and his quest to find equal rights form migrant farm workers.
